Leave your first comment

Use this page to try a comment on text and an image, then check that you can find it again.

Set up CommentLane

Open the CommentLane Library and choose Sign in with Google. Comments you save with the extension are stored in your Google Drive.

Choose Only me to keep your first comment private.

1. Pick a passage

Select a few words below. Right-click and choose Comment on selection. Write a note, select Only me and click Comment.

When you share a project update, include what changed, what’s still blocked and what you need from the team.

2. Try an image

Right-click this icon and choose Comment on this image. You can also use New comment to pick an element on a page.

3. Find your comment again

Reload this page and activate CommentLane again. Your comment should reappear. Choose Enable on this site from the extension icon if you want comments to appear automatically next time.

Open the Library to find the same comment, add a reply or mark it addressed. Choose New page note to comment on the whole page.
